Thickening powder for food and beverages.
AM Plus is a mix of modified starch and maltodextrin. It thickens in a few moments and guarantees a homogeneous and lump-free preparation. Suitable for hot or cold liquids and foods. Am Plus is intended for the dietary treatment of individuals with swallowing disorders, dysphagia and presbyophagy.
Sprinkle a spoonful of powder over the food to be thickened and mix with a fork until completely dissolved. If necessary, use a low speed shaker or mixer for a few seconds. The thickening effect depends on both the amount of powder used and the type of food used. In general, it is completed in a couple of minutes and the consistency obtained remains unchanged for many hours.
Consistency per 100ml of water:
– Syrup: one level tablespoon / level measuring cup (approx.4.5 g).
– Cream: 1.5 tablespoons / level scoops (7 g).
– Pudding: 2 level spoons / measuring spoons (9 g).
The product must be used under medical supervision and should not be intended as the sole source of power. Do not use in children under three years of age. Not for parenteral use.
